New Pricing
Effective June 2007
American Optics Inc. had kept its pricing structure stable for over three (3) years however it was necessary to re-calculate
costs taking into account:
- Unfavorable Foreign Exchange Rate fluctuations and trends in the EURO, USD and CAD currencies (10%+);
- Rising costs in material and labor (5%+);
- Purchase-consolidation;
- Price negotiation through long-term European-supplier commitments;
- Absorbing some of these costs itself, as it had in the past.
On average, "fast-moving" parts experienced a price increase of less than 1% and our "slow-moving" parts experienced a price increase of less than 7%.
Some items did fall out of this range including the many items that did not experience a price increase whatsoever.

With more than 20 years of management experience in world-wide operating enterprises he will be in charge of the operations i n Canada. He holds an Electrical Engineering degree and earned his Ph.D. in Economics.
